A concentrated public space is created under the huge canopy. The building massing extends from the inland plaza to the riverfront and forms a viewing platform facing the east side of Manhattan. Under the shining of the sun, the light and shadow on the ground are clearly outlined, and the volume of the structure lays along the East River, turning out to be sharper and more attractive, staring at the opposite side of the river, shining in the city.
