The complex is a centerpiece of a neighborhood redevelopment plan that connects directly to a new park along Shanghai’s Huangpu River. The primary tower features complex curved surfaces that are accentuated by the horizontal perforated metal fin that enhance its environmental performance. A large number of curved lines are used in the design: curtain walls, canopoes, tower crown and many other elements in the building are detailed with curved panels. With the curtain wall unitization and structural integration design, the curvy beauty of the building is perfectly displayed.
