The design uses polylines that simulate the form of an electrocardiogram. The upper part is painted with light gray texture and the lower part uses natural anti-corrosion wood material.They interlocked with each other to form a “heartbeat signal” that “activates” the compound. At the same time, the design combines light strips with seams to avoid the tedious long facade of the bookstore along the street, which also improves the bookstore’s recognition and conveys a sense of warmth. Through the openable windows that interact with the street, a new interactive living space is formed at the street interface, where both residents nearby and tourists can stop and take a rest, creating more public spaces and social opportunities.
